Talpa House in Trenčín has the shape of butterfly wings, airy and connected to nature. It is built on a steep slope that was unused and difficult to cultivate. It would be wonderful if all sloping land, where even sheep are difficult to keep, could be designated for housing. Flat fields would remain for agriculture. It's better to struggle with building, but have something to eat, than the other way around.
The east-facing slope provides beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Talpa House is located on a hillside, higher up from the road, ensuring a guaranteed view. Although the energy consumption has increased due to the less-than-ideal orientation, the house still meets the energy consumption requirements for category A0, even after 2021.
"We simply like Talpa House. However, it has a higher price. That's why we are glad that our parents also like it. Together, we can build that semi-detached house more easily."
Juraj, owner of the house.
